The Option CloudGate allows customers and system integrators to use this device to suit their site-specific needs, or just to solve issues. Wireless M2M connectivity has been known to have some common problems, which are monitored and then automatically be fixed by built-in software and hardware in the Option Cloudgate. Once an issue is detected connectivity is re-established in a matter of steps. Protection management functions are protected by security mechanisms, like a certificate and/or password based. All management actions take place over hardware assisted encrypted links. Two hardware expansion slots allow for radio and/or wired interfaces to be added.
